CHAPTER 7 • ATTACK OF THE WOLFMAN

SYRACUSE GROVE APARTMENTS…

Destiny and Elise back away from Chris. He turns his head as Rose enters the room. Chris chuckles. Elise tries to recall a spell as she shakes with her wand in hand. Destiny tries to move but the suit seems to hamper her movement. Chris moves closer to Elise and Destiny.

“Get the fuck out, Chris!” Shouts Destiny. “We’re through! We’ve been through for years!”

He laughs. “You’re still my wife! Don’t forget that” The laugh is hearty and heavy. Chris continues to move forward. Elise starts to move her hands. Chris zooms over and grabs her hands. Elise begins to struggle. She drops her wand onto the floor.

Destiny backs away towards the guest room. “You fucker. When you tried to kill me that killed our marriage and our relationship. If I had found you earlier, I would have killed you, myself. I don’t love you. You fucked up.”

Rose moves in front of Destiny. She turns to Destiny. “Run!” Destiny turns and heads to the guest room.

Chris kicks Rose. Rose flies across the room and hits the far wall. she hits the ground unconscious. With Elise, in hand, he turns his attention on Destiny. Before she can reach her bag, Chris grabs her injured leg and pulls. Destiny hits the ground hard. “Fuck you, Chris! You’re an asshole.”

Destiny kicks his arm. Chris catches her free leg. Destiny’s anger begins to rise. Her body begins to shake. Chris slams her into the wall. Destiny becomes woozy.

Chris, then, lifts her off the ground. He huffs and puffs. Chris throws Destiny and Elise over his shoulders. He, then, takes them towards the back bedroom. Destiny and Elise look at one another and gulp.

Elise screams. “You do this and you’re dead, Chris! Michel will rip you apart! I am under the protection of Lycan Law! This domain is covered by the NorWesters!”

Chris chuckles. “Do you think I give a fuck about Lycan Law. I am now going to tear your insides apart. Both of you. This is going to be fun. My legacy will live on… IN YOU!” He maniacally laughs.

He walks towards the back bed room. A huge smile is on his face.

Destiny quivers. “Please, Chris. Don’t do this. This is not you.” Destiny is shaking with fear.

Chris throws them down on the bed. “You know nothing about me Destiny! I am completely different than you remember.” He roars.

“Obviously.” Destiny says.

He jumps upon the bed. Using his razor sharp claws, he shreds the clothes both Destiny and Elise are wearing. This frees Destiny’s left leg. She kicks him. Then, he grabs her leg. Chris chuckles and slams his elbow into the knee. Destiny hears her knee shatter. Destiny cries out in pain.

Author Info:

Pic of meI am an author and artist. I am a family man, love my future wife, daughter, and son. My daughter is not biological, she is my future wife’s daughter, but she calls me Daddy.

I love to write. It is a passion of mine. Some would say an obsession, but those don’t really support me when they call it an obsession.

My writing usually combines my influences of Epic Fantasy, Sci-Fi Sagas, Paranormal, Classic Horror monsters, Superheroes and more. With what I like movie wise it would be hard for most people to understand some of my major influences in writing.

My influences include: J.K. Rowling, E.B. White, Homer, William Shakespeare, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Chris Claremont, Lara Hama, Margaret Weis, Tracey Hickman, J Michael Strasczynski, Todd McFarlane, Scott Lobdell, Timothy Zahn, Roald Dahl, Cassandra Clare, amongst others.

Cover work on Southern Desires

It is so hard at times for me to get any work fine on my cover for Southern Desires without the use of my laptop. The wife sometimes irritates the hell out of me on this aspect.

Between a laptop, netbook, or tablet at this point, I’d probably much prefer a lightweight laptop. That way I can write and do the artwork for my novels as well.

Being protective of your items is one thing, but not letting your own spouse take a laptop with him when he spends countless hours in near boredom unable to finish the process to possibly publish his novel is idiotic. (In this case, I’m the husband)

I have ideas for setting up the cover, but I need the equipment to do it. Hmm. Sounds like a laptop with graphics programs that’s sitting not being used at home.

She asks if my phone will suffice. For the writing yes. But for the cover art. Um, no. And I have so little time to work on it on the weekends. Just ridiculous.

She’s slowly squashing the dream she says that she supports. I just need the equipment with which to work on. This is turning into a hopeless endeavor. Will the covers ever get done to my liking?!?

That’s the one thing I do not want to rush. I want to have a quality cover for my novels. Sketching them out us one thing, but when will I be able to put them together?!?

Ho. Hum.

See you on the flip side of the screen

Little Known Tramp

Heather Rivers, a curly blonde waitress, gets off from working at Lester’s Diner. She takes her 2007 Rusting white Honda Accord and heads over to a local bar called The Loose Goose. She parks parallel to the street and walks inside. The bartender, a strapping young man named Brian, sees Heather and nods her direction. The blonde walks over to the bar, she is wearing a skintight leather dress. She sways her hips as she continues towards the bar where she sees Brian.Brian rubs a hand through his black mop of hair as she sits down. “What’ll be?”

“I’ll have a vodka martini with a cherry on top,” Heather says as she plays with her golden locks while looking around the room.

She notices a bronze headed gentleman, two stools down, drowning his sorrows in a glass of scotch. He looks vaguely familiar to her. She nods his direction.

“So, honey, what’s got you so down?” She asks him.

The bronze headed gentleman, William Stromhold, looks up at her. “There is someone I’m interested in but she’s with someone else.”

Heather scoots over towards him. She puts her arm around his neck. William breathes in the sweet scent of Heather’s perfume and her blood.

“Forget about her,” Heather says. “I’m much better for you. Besides you don’t want to be lonely, do you?”

“No, I don’t,” Will replies as Heather’s drink arrives. Will, then, swigs back the rest of his drink and asks for another.

“You are so gorgeous, honey,” she sultrily says to Will. “What’s your name?”

“William Stromhold, but call me Will.”

“And you can call me Heather,” she say swirling the cherry in her drink. Then, she takes the cherry out and bites it off. With her tongue she is able to twist the stem. Then, she removes the stem from her mouth.

“Impressive.” Will says as he gets his refill. Both take a sip of their drinks and move over to a more secluded part of the bar.

As they walk over their table, a gust of wind brushes against her neck. This raises the hairs on the back of Will’s neck as the thirst begins to swell in him.

His fangs begin to extend. Heather looks at th and rushes him over to their secluded table. She looks him in the eyes with concern for him.

“Not here, Will,” she tells him. “You trying to get yourself staked. Reign those back in, honey. I got plans for you.”

This shocks Will for a moment. A human not afraid of a vampire, but already knew he was one?!? Huh?!?

“How did you?!?”

“Don’t worry about that, honey,” Heather says. “I’m not the dumb blonde bimbo everyone seems to think I am. I seem to surprise a lot of people with my knowledge.”

“I bet,” William says to her. “What are you wanting to do?”

That’s when Heather pulls William towards her. She kisses him. After slight momentary shock, Will reciprocates.

Heather runs her hands over Will’s chiseled body. She feels the heat building in her body as Will gently kisses her neck.

“Honey, take me home and rock me,” she tells him.

“Yours or mine,” he asks.

“Surprise me.”

Then, both William and Heather leave the Loose Goose. William and Heather get into his jade green Mercedes Benz S63 AMG and take off.
